Hi! Thank you for your wonderful app ideas! We enjoy tic tac toe (free), Paper Toss, Hangman, Temple Run, and Uno (only 99 cents). These are a mix of iPod/iPhone and iPad apps!
ReplyDeleteMy students are crazy over fireworks by best fun games. Good problem solving game!
ReplyDeleteI love using Articulation Station. It is not free, but it is a great program. My younger students really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteCheck out www.speechlanguageneighborhood.com for ideas on how to use apps in therapy as well as free homework handouts to complement ArtikPix. Welcome to the world of iPads and speech therapy! You're going to love it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the suggestions! We are loving learning more about these apps!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the list of great apps! I just found a new one that is a must have! No more counting out assessment due dates by hand!

I also love using articulation station. Also, I Like Books, Peek a Zoo, iLanguage, the Bag Game (great asking and answering questions), Clicky Sticky, Story Cubes (great!) and Cookie Doodle. Check them out!
ReplyDeleteWe are learning about so many wonderful apps that we will do another post on this soon! Keep the suggestions coming!
ReplyDeleteI really love the kindergarten.com flash cards for receptive and expressive language skills! Great for working on articulation and increasing vocabulary.
ReplyDeleteI keep a list of apps for adult-focused SLPs (though many apps great for all ages) here: http://tactustherapy.com/resources/
